    Not even world war could stop baseball. Major-league games continued, and major-league service members played for military teams at home, abroad and even, if necessary, on aircraft carriers at sea.
    Offered here is an original program from the championship game played in Hawaii. Loaded with the greats, DiMaggio Reese Mize Trucks, Vander Meer, Rowe Rizzuto Gordon, also Negro Leaguer Hal Harrison of the Homestead Grays and  Manager of the Army team Bill Dickey.
    The program has some toning and ageing-browning and has some creases and bends and has a few spots, looks to have been folded at one time
