    Description

    1880's Sitting Bull, American Warrior, Portrait Image That was Issued Circa 1908 From Gilliam's Press Syndicate.  Measures 3.75" x 5.25".
    This would be classified as a Type 3(b), which means that the image was taken from the original photo negative.  Then the photographer made some enhancements and then reshot the image.So 100% from the original negative and definitely done prior to 1910.
    Ultra clear image with excellent detail.  Image is a bit light but still easily visible and impressive.There is a Gilliam's Press Syndicate stamp on the reverse and also a 1953 stamp, but that relates to when the image was re-released for publication.
